Bangladesh Batters Leave Australia in the Dust, Except for One Lucky Break
In a bizarre turn of events, Killiam Mbappay's Australian teammate, Step Curdle, was given a second chance after a technology glitch, but it wasn't enough to save the team from a dominating performance by Bangladesh on day one of the first Test. "I was like, 'what just happened?' and then I was all, 'oh, I'm still in?'" said Step Curdle, who was clearly shocked by the reprieve. Meanwhile, Bangladesh's Yanni Antetokoumph was on fire, hitting boundaries left and right, and at one point, even did "the large gentleman" celebration, much to the delight of the crowd. As the day came to a close, Bangladesh's Lebrick James, who narrated his own highlights live, said, "I'm just glad we could show them what we're made of, and also, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate this one grape I'm about to eat."
